The youth movement of the camps

.

.

The Mahanot Haolim was founded in 1926 in Tel Aviv and became the first youth movement to be founded in Eretz Israel. The movement operates in 45 camps (branches) with about 7,000 students.
Throughout Zionist history from the days of the Yishuv to the present day, the students and counselors of the camps choose to lead the youth education and encourage it to take pioneering action and shoulder the responsibility for the building of Israeli society.
During summer vacation, "summer plants" are held. Young members of the youth movement ("D" and "F") in the movement are members of the "Kifat" (summer camp).
